Loretta Eboigbe
Loretta Eboigbe is a Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is passionate about expanding access to mental healthcare through community-engaged approaches that foster connection, creativity, and healing.
Loretta’s mission is centered on cultivating joy and honoring the lived experiences of the children, families, educators, and community leaders she is privileged to collaborate with. She is committed to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care, and partners with clients to support their goals. Her research explores how identity development, cultural strengths, and coping strategies influence psychosocial outcomes for immigrant youth, with a particular focus on Black immigrant communities.
Outside of her academic and clinical work, Loretta enjoys dancing, writing poetry, creating art, worshipping with her church community, and spending time with her family and friends.
