Kasandra Sánchez Hernández

Kasandra Sánchez Hernández is a clinical psychology extern at MedStar's School-Based Program and a fourth-year doctoral student in the Ph.D. Clinical Psychology program at Gallaudet University. She has experience providing individual, couple, and group therapy to children and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, and trauma-related concerns in a variety of settings, including community health centers, private practice, and university counseling centers. Kasandra has a special interest in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma, and culturally informed care. She has also received training in psychological assessment, including cognitive, educational, and personality testing. Kasandra looks forward to continuing to develop her clinical skills and building meaningful relationships with the individuals and communities she serves.
