Keziah Chinebuah

Keziah Chinebuah holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Northeastern University and is working towards an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at George Washington University. Her journey to becoming a counselor and eventually a psychologist includes experience with children and adolescents in outpatient and school settings, as well as with young adults in community environments. Through her multicultural background—spanning England, Ghana, and the US—Keziah has developed a theoretical approach that emphasizes insight-oriented methods as a foundation for healing strategies tailored to each client's unique situation. Currently, she is engaged in research to promote epistemic justice in counseling by exploring how macro-cultural dominance affects traditional frameworks and by evaluating Afrocentric models for relevance in child-centered play therapy and eating disorder treatment.
