Rosy Chacón

Rosy Chacón is currently a Master of Social Work candidate in Behavioral Health at the University of Maryland School of Social Work. She is also a student fellow of the Behavioral Health Workforce Integration Service and Education (BHWISE) Lifespan Fellowship. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral and Community Health at the University of Maryland, College Park. Rosy has experience working with children, adolescents, and families in medical clinics, schools, and advocacy organizations in both English and Spanish. Rosy has worked to coach, educate, and advocate on healthy lifestyles, mental health, and wellness practices at Children's National Hospital, Holy Cross Health, the University of Maryland Health Center, District of Columbia Public Schools, and the Child Health Advocacy Institute. Her goal is to provide comprehensive, inclusive, and empowering therapeutic support and family advocacy. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, staying active, gardening, interior design, and watching new shows on Netflix.
