Francesca (Frenchy) Fernandez, MA

Frenchy is a third-year clinical psychology doctoral student at Catholic University, with a bachelor's from Colgate University and a master's from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Frenchy has experience working with youth and emerging adults with various mental health, behavioral, and learning concerns. She has trained in a variety of clinical settings, including university counseling centers, children’s hospitals, and the Child Mind Institute. She is particularly passionate about helping to assess and treat youth experiencing suicidal thoughts and behaviors. As a proud Northeast native, when she's not immersed in research or clinical work, Frenchy enjoys hunting for DC's best bagels and pizza, attending concerts, and spending time with her friends and their pets.
