Ethan Fischer
After completing a psychology bachelor’s degree at the University of Waterloo, Ethan studied at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he completed his clinical psychology master’s degree and is presently working on a psycho-social oncology dissertation for his clinical psychology doctoral degree. Having worked as a therapist in both a community-based clinic and in private practice, Ethan takes pride in having treated people from many different walks of life. Ethan’s therapeutic style is usually eclectic and often uses tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, among other therapeutic modalities. Given the importance of client-treatment fit, Ethan always works to meet his clients where they are so that they can pursue the treatment that fits their specific circumstances.
