Alonzo Barber

Alonzo John (AJ) Barber is a doctoral extern pursuing his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School in Washington, D.C., where he also earned his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from The Ohio State University, where he also minored in Psychology. AJ’s clinical and research experiences include pediatric neuropsychology, resilience among Black and African American populations, and concussion assessment at Children’s National Hospital, including work with athletes. His professional interests include health and sports psychology, and he values creating a positive patient experience while helping individuals feel supported throughout their care.
